Gisela L. Margotta, of Boston, and Michael S. Allen, of Medford, have been elected senior vice president and vice president, respectively, at East Cambridge Savings Bank.
Margotta, who first joined East Cambridge Savings Bank in 1989 as a comptroller, also serves as the treasurer and chief risk officer of the bank, according to a statement. During her time with East Cambridge Savings Bank, she has been elected to a number of positions, including vice president in 1990, treasurer and corporator in 1996 and chief risk officer in 2007.
In Allen’s role as vice president, he oversees deposit operations, electronic banking, loan servicing and serves as the bank’s community reinvestment act officer, according to a statement. Allen, who first joined East Cambridge Savings Bank as a part-time branch clerk in 1986, has worked in a number of positions, including assistant manager of deposit services in 1999 and deposit operations manager in 2003. Allen also held several elected positions such as assistant vice president in 2003, and since 2008, he has served as the community reinvestment act officer for the bank.
