Marlborough’s Members Insurance Agency LLC, a subsidiary of the Massachusetts Credit Union League, the New Hampshire Credit Union League and the Credit Union Association of Rhode Island, has formed a permanent alliance with Partners Benefit Group (PBG).

Through its new alliance with PBG, Members Insurance Agency aims to maximize the value of the employee benefits programs being made available to the 256 credit unions located throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, according to a statement.

This partnership formalizes the long-standing relationship Members Insurance Agency has had with PBG, a New England-based, employee benefits management company.

"This exciting new strategic alliance takes our long-standing relationship with PBG to a new level," said Bob Delaney, chief operating officer of Members Insurance Agency. "Our credit unions will enjoy a greater range of support services and our director of account services, Andy Hollatz, will have more even more resources available to help credit unions manage and control their employee benefit cost."

"We have enjoyed working with Members Insurance Agency for nearly 10 years on their credit union business and are thrilled they have chosen to affiliate with us," said Michael McKenna, president of PBG. "We look forward to applying our resources and leverage to create better and more economically advantageous benefit plans for our credit union clients, which, in this difficult time are more important than ever."

Hollatz will continue to be the primary employee benefit interface for the credit union decision makers, including CFO’s, benefits managers and/or human resources directors, according to a statement.

By choosing to partner with PBG, Members Insurance increased its ability to access benefit plans that reduce cost without significantly increasing out-of-pocket expenses to the employee or diminishing the overall quality of the plan itself, according to a statement.
