Rockland Trust has hired Richard Muraida as first vice president.
Muraida will be responsible for developing and expanding the bank’s efforts in the area of affordable housing throughout New England.
Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Muraida held senior positions at Eagle Bank, Boston Private Bank & Trust, Anglo Irish Bank, Eastern Bank, Fleet National Bank and Bank of Boston. He is treasurer and board member for the Community Economic Development Assistance Corp., a board member of the Citizens Housing and Planning Association and a member of the Massachusetts Housing Partnership Fund and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.
