A former manufacturing building at 56-58 North Ave. in Natick has been sold for $1.5 million.

Wheeler Lane Realty LLC, of Natick, purchased the 34,427-square-foot building and plans to redevelop the property into 24 multi-family apartment units, according to a statement.

The site was previously occupied by Duralectra Inc., which moved its aluminum coating operation to Woonsocket, R.I.

Dean Blackey and Craig Johnston of R.W. Holmes Realty represented the owner and procured the buyer.
