Haverhill-based Pentucket Bank plans to open a new branch in North Andover.

The branch will be constructed at the intersection of 1077 Osgood St., next to the Butcher Boy Plaza.

Scott Cote, president and CEO of Pentucket Bank, said in a statement, “This is one of the premiere bank retail locations in all of North Andover and we are excited to have a branching opportunity in the Butcher Boy Market Plaza with a number of well-known businesses as existing tenants such as Butcher Boy Market and Orzo’s Restaurant to name a few.”

Pending town approvals, Pentucket anticipates a groundbreaking in the fall. The bank is planning construction of a free-standing retail branch at the intersection of Routes 125 and 133. The proposed new facility will include two drive-in bays, a drive-in and walk-up ATM’s and will be a full service branch office for the bank.

The proposed office will be Pentucket Bank’s sixth branch.
