Gabrielle Piasio has been named assistant vice president and treasury management business development coordinator at Danversbank.

In her new role, Piasio will focus on developing relationships in the legal, insurance and non-profit sectors, while helping customers reap the benefits of cash management tools, according to a statement.

She comes to Danversbank with five years of banking experience ranging from retail to commercial services. She previously worked in the cash management department at Destin First Bank in Florida, where she managed a $20 million commercial loan portfolio and $24 million in deposits, according to a statement.

Piasio earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida State University’s College of Business and an MBA from FSU’s College of Business with a concentration in entrepreneurship.

She is an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and has been a team captain and chairperson for the American Cancer Society’s "Relay for Life" for the last 11 years.
