J. Calnan & Assoc. has been awarded the pre-construction and construction contract for a 150,000-square-foot renovation for medical supply company Owens & Minor.

Owens & Minor recently leased 147,578 square feet in Franklin, more than tripling its original footprint. The facility’s lighting and HVAC systems will be upgraded, according to a statement.

J. Calnan will also build new office space and restrooms and provided generators to back up the entire facility.

The project will be a collaborative effort between architects TA Realty and Packard Design, construction manager J.Calnan & Assoc., landlord Owens & Minor, WB Engineers, Conveying System Contractor, PeakLogix and project management firm Maverick Project Management.
