RJ Kelly Co. of Burlington has acquired 805 Middlesex Turnpike in Billerica for $5 million.
The two-story office/flex building contains 123,000 square feet of space on a 9-acre parcel.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Robert Griffin, Edward Maher and Matt Pullen brokered the transaction.
“805 Middlesex Turnpike is well positioned to take advantage of the surging Burlington market and cater to today’s high-tech firms,” Pullen said in a statement. “The competitive landscape for large blocks of affordable space in Burlington is virtually non-existent, and 805 Middlesex Turnpike offers an ideal opportunity for ownership to offer tenants a first-class, renovate-to-suit solution.”
Mark McLean, RJ Kelly’s vice president of asset management, said the developer plans a significant capital improvement plan to create Class A office space.
