Fitchburg-based Rollstone Bank & Trust has purchased a building in Leominster that will become headquarters for the bank’s wealth management division.

The wealth management team will move into the building at 4 Central St. after the 4,000-square-foot space is renovated, the bank said in a statement.

“We are very excited to be growing this important service to our account holders and locating it in a special space that can better serve their needs well into the future,” Martin F. Connors Jr., president and CEO of Rollstone Bank & Trust, said in the statement. “Whether investing, saving for retirement or a college education, this will be a location dedicated to helping people achieve their financial goals.”

The bank said the expansion in Leominster would also contribute to the ongoing revitalization of the downtown corridor.

“We have recognized the importance of the downtown corridor to our community, and this is another concrete sign of that revitalization,” Leominster Mayor Dean J. Mazzarella said in the statement. “Rollstone has long been a partner in the fiscal health and well-being of Leominster, and this is yet another example of their commitment to our city.”

Services provided at the new location will include trust administration, estate settlement, estate planning, investment management and endowments and foundation, the statement said.

Rollstone had more than $210 million in assets under management for its customers as of Dec. 31.

“This location will make it easier for our customers to connect with our dedicated and experienced experts,” said Melissa Maranda, Rollstone’s senior vice president of wealth management and senior trust officer. “The entire Rollstone Wealth team is looking forward to welcoming existing and new clients into the new space, and providing the expertise, tailored solutions, and personalized service they deserve.”

Rollstone Bank has $861 million in assets and eight branches, including two in Leominster.
