South Eastern Economic Development (SEED) Corp. has promoted Ann Desrosiers to vice president, operations and portfolio management in Taunton. Meanwhile, several other staff members have taken on new responsibilities in its operations department.
She will now be responsible for the supervision of all loan operations and financial and administrative functions, in addition to her loan portfolio management duties.
Desrosiers has been with SEED for 11 years. Prior to joining SEED, she was vice president of finance at Southern Massachusetts Credit Union for eight years. Her 21-year banking career also included financial positions with Shawmut Bank and Bank of Boston. She previously worked as senior secretary for the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District.
Anne Rounds, assistant vice president/closing manager, is now responsible for SBA 504 loan closing coordination and final document review. Rounds also coordinates and prepares loan closing documents for SEED’s small loan programs up to $200,000.
Sid Silva Reyes, commercial lending and servicing officer, has assumed financial responsibility for SEED’s accounts, in addition to providing support to the lending team, and supervising the administrative staff. She has been with SEED since 1997. Prior to SEED, Reyes worked at Bristol County Savings Bank for five years, most recently as a commercial credit analyst.
Kelsey Ainsworth, commercial lending and servicing assistant, has assumed responsibilities in portfolio management, in addition to assisting with administrative duties. She joined SEED on a full-time basis this summer. She has worked at SEED part-time since 2009 and as a student intern prior to that.
Katherine Torres, administrative officer, continues to be responsible for the operation of the SEED office. She is often the person on the other end of the line, and the one who receives clients and guests. Torres has been with SEED since 2004. Prior to SEED, she worked at Miriam Hospital and The May Institute Inc. in an administrative capacity.
