Sheedy Promoted To VP At United Bank

Joanne Sheedy Joanne M. Sheedy of Springfield has been promoted to vice president, credit at West Springfield-based United Bank.

Sheedy, who joined the bank in 1999, previously held the position of assistant vice president. She is responsible for managing the commercial credit department, according to a statement.

Her previous experience includes commercial credit analyst and loan review positions with Greenfield Savings Bank, Vermont National Bank, United Savings Bank and Shawmut Bank.

Sheedy graduated from American International College with a degree in political science and economics.
