Tech incubator Triton Systems has completed a move to a new headquarters in recently-renovated space at 330 Billerica Road in Chelmsford.
330 Billerica Road is part of Chelmsford’s Cross Roads at 129 district, a 623-acre business park off Route 3. Owned by Newton-based RMR Group, the 2-story building totals 98,048 square feet and is positioned for office, lab and R&D uses.
The newly remodeled space was designed by Fishbrook Design Studios of Haverhill and built out by Windover Construction in a year-long project that concluded in January. It includes labs and development sensors for products in a wide range of industries from robotics to virtual reality.
RMR Group announced last year that Pressed Cafe has signed a long-term lease at 330 Billerica Road and will open in 2022.
The Crossroads at 129 is the lynchpin of Chelmsford economic development officials’ efforts to attract new companies to the town’s major business park following the departure of Kronos and Mercury Systems. The town recently achieved a platinum rating for bio-readiness from the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, which certifies communities that have zoning and infrastructure to accommodate biotech companies.
