Richard B. Collins, president and CEO of West Springfield-based United Bank, announced today that the Bank has established three new regional manager positions to supervise retail operations in the bank’s expanded marketplace.
United Bank currently serves customers in the Springfield and Worcester regions of Massachusetts, and recently added a 15-branch network in northern Connecticut with its acquisition of New England Bank in November.
The new regional managers are Darilyn Nardi of Agawam; Lisa M. Rood of Easthampton; and Barbara Fontaine of Bristol, Conn. They will report to Deborah M. Gebo, senior vice president of retail banking.
In their new positions, they will be responsible for the administration and management of branches within their assigned region, including operations, product sales, customer service, and security and safety. They will supervise personal bankers and branch operations supervisors within their region, with oversight for branch staffing and scheduling.
Nardi will supervise retail banking in 16 branches in the Springfield area, Rood will serve as regional manager for seven branches in Worcester, and Fontaine will oversee 15 branches in the bank’s Connecticut market.
