Atlanta-based Noble Investment Group has bought the Hilton Garden Inn Boston/Waltham for an undisclosed sum.

In a statement, Noble said the hotel will "undergo a comprehensive renovation." The property was attractive to Noble for its proximity to several high-profile firms, including IBM and Raytheon.

The 148-room hotel will be renovated inside and out, undergoing a "substantial visual transformation" along the way.

Noble is a private equity-backed lodging and hospitality investment group.
